iPhones and iPads are great tools by themselves and many businesses are adopting them to get things done. Sometimes a business will want an app for internal use only. How do you publish an app that bypasses the App Store without much hassle?

Do you have an app that takes so much resources and power that you’d rather just not support an older iOS device? It’s not recommended (since these users will feel left out), but it is possible.

The Local Habit is a great restaurant in San Diego, CA. The only recently opened last summer and their menu and drink list is constantly changing. They also host many events. An iPhone app was a great compliment to their website and business.

As a developer, I always read the stories about Apple’s approval process.  Some good, some bad, but most stories were similar to: “It took about 2 weeks, but were not sure if they were looking at it or not.”
